MASSAGE4MENTALHEALTH

This is a campaign launched by Hayley in July last year. It's aim is to have Massage Therapy recognised as a credible treatment for mental health conditions.

About the campaign

In July, Hayley launched MASSAGE4MENTALHEALTH - The campaign aims to promote massage therapy as a credible treatment for mental health conditions. The ultimate goal is to have massage therapy recognised by the National Health Service (NHS) as a viable and effective treatment option for individuals struggling with mental health issues. However there are many other goals including awareness and education.

This campaign is inspired by Hayley's own experience with trauma and mental health struggles. She discovered the power of massage therapy in managing her symptoms, and through this campaign, she aims to raise awareness about the physical symptoms associated with mental health and promote the use of massage therapy as a complementary treatment.

Since its launch, the Massage4Mental Health Campaign has been a huge success. It has been featured in many industry magazines, including Good Housekeeping, and Hayley has been invited to BBC Surrey Radio twice to talk about the campaign. This year, she did a talk and demonstration on massage and mental health at Professional Beauty, London, and was flown to Bologna, Italy, where she gave a demo on stage at COSMOPROF.

Hayley is currently still talking and promoting the power of Massage, and is also currently working on the next part of the project, and is very excited to launch the later part of the year.
